Earlier this year, the Care Quality Commission consulted on their proposals for the assessment of quality for health and adult social care in 2010/11. The consultation provided a high level overview of their planned approach to carrying out periodic reviews and special reviews and studies, and how they plan to publish information about them. They described these three activities as ‘assessments of quality’. Full Article on the CQC website The consultation ran from 2 February to 27 April 2010 and they received over 462 responses to the proposals, including a response from the Halton LINk.
