5 Boroughs Partnership Acute Care Pathway Engagement Event, Tuesday 1st November at 12pm, Winwick Leisure Centre, Warrington, WA2 8LQ

5 Boroughs Partnership are engaging with service users and carers on the Acute Care Pathway. This will have an impact on the way 5BPS provides care. The reasons for change are

  • Service User concerns regarding the delays of the initial assessment
  • Crisis Resolution / Home Treatment Teams spending more time on assessing rather than providing direct care
  • Service User worries and frustrations regarding being transferred between teams
  • GP concerns regarding the Trust's management of their referrals to 5 Boroughs Partnership NHS Foundation Trust
  • Difficulties transferring service users to primary care when they are recovered due to their anxieties about accessing services in the future

It is important that as many service users, carers and representatives of organisations working with service users and cares attend the meeting so your views are heard on the new Acute Care Pathway.
